Souncloud Bio (A Reflective Description of the Grind)
Bronx born rapper Moe Mentum relocated to NJ at the age of 13. During his years in NJ, he honed his craft and after high school went to Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. It was there; he developed a friendship and group with fellow NJ based emcee Urbalist. The two formed a group known as Hybrid H (later to be named Urbalist & Moe Mentum). As a group the two released college radio chart toppers 2 Yutes and the Countdown (both Produced by 8th Wundah). Moe Mentum, exhibiting his pride in his Puerto Rican heritage, released two mixtapes. Both generated a solid buzz, and helped Moe Mentum keep to his name's sake and keep things moving. After encountering some rough times (the death of his father, grandfather and Urbalist diagnosis of cancer) Moe Mentum is back on the "grind" looking to spread positive and raw emotional lyrics to as he puts it, "whoever is willing to listen". As a member of Hybrid H Moe Mentum recorded a full-length LP, two singles, 3 solo mixtapes, 3 mixtapes entitled All In, and The Varsity 3 mixtape. Along with a plethora of collaborations with artists from RI. With years of growth, experience, and pain to express to his fans, Moe Mentum is the truth personified.
